What is La Quinta Club?
La Quinta, set right in the heart of La Manga Club is unique. A five star, privately owned Members Club that offers all the style and comfort of La Manga but at a fraction of the cost. You can have as many or as few weeks as you like. Whatever you choose, La Quinta offers not only the best possible value for money but peace of mind.
Where is it exactly?
Drive through the lemon groves of La Manga Club past the rolling greens of the North course, one of the three best golf courses in Spain. Continue on your way by the stylish Hyatt Principe Felipe Hotel, turn right at the tennis centre, up the hill and you are there.
What is included?
Pretty well everything. Each villa is fully air conditioned, or heated if you decide to come in the winter months. Satellite, flat screen TV with DVD and a separate CD player can provide the entertainment for evenings spent at home, while the built-in barbeque in either the garden or the terrace makes cooking the family meal a fun occasion.
The kitchen, with marble granite work-tops and every possible appliance, including fridge freezer, dishwasher, micro-wave and roasting oven with separate hobs, allows you to prepare anything from a snack to a feast. Obviously you have all the linen, cutlery, china, glassware you could possibly need including the absolute essentials. The corkscrew and bottle opener await your pleasure!
Naturally you have your own washing machine, along with a steam iron and board. We firmly believe we have forgotten nothing, and if we have our Members soon tell us about it..
What makes it special?
To its Members, La Quinta is the jewel in the La Manga crown. With just 46 villas it is small enough to be their own special village, but with a level of comfort and luxury that is truly special. Each of the two or three bedroom villas is designed and maintained to five star standard; the spacious Club House, the wide patio, made for barbeques and dancing under the stars along with the superb location all add to the experience. The Club swimming pool, with its integral bar is the centre of La Quinta life. This is where Members meet, chat, get to know each other and form friendships that last for life. La Quinta is not simply a glamorous holiday resort; it is a home from home in the Spanish sunshine.
What about the youngsters?
La Manga Club is not just a great resort for adults, it's a kids' paradise, offering every possible sport and activity at various age levels. Top favourites are the five-day Golf and Tennis Academy courses. They're run all year round from Monday to Friday and are the ideal opportunity for children to have fun, make new friends and improve their sporting skills under the supervision of experienced coaches.
In the summer things really hot up with different activities to do every day at the La Manga Junior Club. For those who intend to be the new Luke Donald or Andy Murray or David Beckham there are more intensive Junior Sports Academies in everything from Golf, Tennis and Football to Dance, Cricket or Karate.
For the very young here at La Quinta we operate our own toy library, which is totally free and open to all. Just ask the staff at reception. We will also be offering a Karaoke evening for youngsters once a week during the summer and the children's playground with swings, see-saws and table tennis is just adjacent to La Solana, the La Quinta Club House.
Tell us about the facilities
Everything that La Manga Club has to offer is available to La Quinta Members and mostly at a specially negotiated, discounted price. La Manga's sporting facilities are at the highest level, with many of Europe's champions dropping in to practice their game for international tournaments. During the summer months La Quinta runs its own informal tennis tournament where the stars are our own members. There is also a Pitch and Putt competition which attracts everyone from the budding Luke Donalds (Luke picked up his first golf Club at La Quinta) to virgin players who spend more time rescuing golf balls from the frogs than actually hitting them. At La Quinta we call it Pitch, Putt and Oops.
