YOUR PRESENTERS

Sandra Harris Ramini

sandraSandra Ramini is a member of the La Quinta committee and a well known journalist and broadcaster. As Sandra Harris she started her career with the BBC and Radio 4, moving into television with Thames Television and then with British Airways running their magazines. The 'Less Stress' column in Business Life Magazine was her creation along with the 'Well Being' information that is still an important part of High Life Magazine.

I began to do Yoga 30 years ago, just to add a little calmness and relaxation into my life. It rapidly became an important cornerstone of my existence. I learned the Iyengar method from one of his great protagonists, Penny Chaplin and I firmly believe that the easy time I had during the birth of my daughter, Kami 27 years ago was due to my Yoga breathing and exercise. Since I gave up full-time employment some eight years ago sharing my Yoga expertise became something I wanted to do more seriously. I was gently pushed into becoming a teacher by friends who were looking for a kinder, more personal yoga experience than they found in more traditional classes and it has gone on from there. I look forward to welcoming everyone to my classes, total beginners and all spare parts catered for including knees, hips whatever. Yoga can handle them all!
