Given the extraordinary situation created by Covid-19, La Quinta has devised an operational transformation strategy based on the following premiss:

• To ensure the safety of members, visitors & employees

• The reduction of interaction/contact between members, visitors & employees

• The optimisation/simplification of processes and the introduction of digitalised systems

Based on these principles, new cleaning, hygiene and social distancing measures have been developed to allow the opening of our Club within a framework of confidence and safety.

 

NEW EXTRA CLEANING AND HYGIENE MEASURES

New cleaning protocol

Enhanced cleaning & disinfection processes including new cleaning products which will be used throughout the stay.

Special prevention plan

The creation of contamination prevention and maintenance systems for air conditioning, refrigeration and water. 

Stay Safe

Introduction of a “stay safe” plan with the appointment of three dedicated members of staff to guarantee implementation 

 

Personal Protective Equipment

All staff will be issued with specific PPE and hygiene equipment and will undertake food health & hygiene training to ADECCO standards prior to opening.

Laundry procedures

A health and safety process has been created for the collection and washing of bedding and linens prior, during and after departure to prevent contamination.

Cleaning

Cleaning will be carried out when the villa is unoccupied. Residents may request an additional midweek clean during their stay at a small extra charge. Items such as remote controls, dispensers and clothes hangers will be sealed after disinfecting.

Elimination of paper and waste bin

All paper and stationary products will be removed from the villas. Access to information etc will be via a digital directory using QR codes. The bathroom waste bins will remain and will have lids with an automatic opening system.

Dispensers and prevention kit

Hydroalcoholic solution dispensers for hand cleaning will be placed in public areas.

 

NEW PERSONAL SPACE: SOCIAL DISTANCING

Pre-arrival information

Prior to arrival customers will be contacted and informed of the safety measures and protocols that will be in place at the club. This will be by means of an email. Villa keys will be fully sanitised for every arrival.

New signage system

New signage will be in place throughout the club providing social distancing information and space allocation. 

Protective screens

Protective screens will be installed where necessary for your safety.

 

 Capacity reduction

As per the Spanish authorities regulations we must reduce capacity in the swimming pool in order to guarantee social distancing and personal space.

Restaurant & pool bar service

Due to the current situation we will still provide you with our best service at the pool bar and restaurant in line with the Spanish Health Authorities guidelines. Table distancing and QR codes to read the snack menu will be in place. Our clubhouse La Solana will have reduced opening hours, take away is available until bar closes. In the pool bar the only payment method accepted is the identification card given on arrival, to be charged to your villa account, cash or credit card is not allowed.

Hygiene certification

Rovira Consulting has provided certification for hygiene, disinfection and quality control of all restaurant and bar processes.

Swimming-pool

The reserving of sun loungers is not permitted. Groups of 4-sun loungers will be distributed around the pool areas. Please share these amongst family members, especially children. They will be fully sanitised before change over of guests. Inflatables, except for babies and young children, are not allowed.

We had bad weather 6 days out of 9. Don't go in March expecting a winter sunshine break!
We picked La Quinta as we wanted to experience La Manga club and the high score it had on this website. Property definitely lived up to its high rating with its cleanliness and high maintenance standards.
Covid still impacting service. We were there 9 nights but room was serviced only once. Breakfast and lunch were served in restaurant but no dinner. There was only one other restaurant open nearby for dinner which involved a good walk up and down the very steep hill (heart attack hill) La Quinta is built on. If struggling for mobility, I would suggest you pick altenative accommodation. Car hire is also essential.

Good location, beautiful view, everything we needed was in the walking distance Stuff was really friendly and helpful
Pool opening times and rools, it would good to be have more options in facility breakfast

the swimming pool was heated and was able to swim.The staff were all so very helpful will be back
Very pretty and extremely well run
everything you needed it’s a lot of steps and quite hilly which makes it attractive but a little difficult for those who are maybe not so good at walking.
